Advantages of Porcelain Laminate

  • A little tooth erosion is adequate. It is not necessary to shrink the tooth all round.
  • Its luminous transmittance is great. Therefore, it promises the best aesthetic.
  • It is not allergenic.
  • It does not cause grey discoloration in gums.

Disadvantages of Porcelain Laminate

  • It costs higher relatively.
  • Although it is observed very rarely, the porcelain leaflets may come off. It might stem from the technique of sticking or a mistake of the dentist.
